Limited to CXLV examples, signed by the artist, namely: XXX examples on Japon of the imperial manufacture, including V examples, numbered of I to V, each containing a suite on Japon with black remarks, a suite on Chine with black remarks, and an original drawing by the artist, and XXV examples, numbered from VI to XXX, each containing a sequel on Japon with remarks in black; Ninety-five examples, numbered from XXXI to CXXV, on vlin la forme, fabriqu spcialement by the papeteries d'Arches; and, XX non-commerce examples, numbered in Roman numerals from I to XX, reserved for the artist and collaborators.

The coppers used to draw the illustrations have been scratched by the artist in the presence of the publisher.
