Excerpted from the album, This album has been printed in Paris on the occasion of the artist's exhibition of "Cartones" at the Pierre Matisse Gallery, 4l East 57th Street, New York, from October 19th to November 13th 1965.

The edition has been limited to LXXV examples on vlin d'Arches la forme, numbered I to XXV containing 2 original lithographs in color, one of which is signed by the artist and MCC examples with one original lithograph, numbered I to MCC.

The colored pochoirs are by Daniel Jacomet and the typography by Fequet et Baudier. The original lithographs, including the cover, were printed by Fernand Mourlot.
