PETER MAX (1937) is an American artist known for known for being a pioneer and innovator of the visual arts and culture of the 1960s, particularly of psychedelic art and pop art. From visionary Pop artist of the 1960s, to master of dynamic Neo-Expressionism, his vibrant colors have become part of the fabric of contemporary American culture.
