Excerpted from the folio (translated from French), From this volume, finished to print on April 1, One Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-Two on the presses of the lImprimerie Grou-Radenez, it was printed: XX examples on verg d'Arches teint, signed by the author and the artist, containing the suite in four colors of the engravings, their superposition in black and color, and an original eau-forte by Pablo Picasso, numbered from I to XX; and CD examples on Vlin Bouffant, numbered from XXI to CDXX.

In addition, VI author's examples were drawn on verg d'Arches teint, numbered from I to VI. The illustrations were engraved with a chisel by Pablo Picasso in a manner to be printed in the text by common typographic processes; the eau-forte, intended only for examples on Verg d'Arches, was drawn from the presses of Roger Lacourire, master printer, in Paris.
